PEP Authenticator is designed to minimize data collection.
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
- Authentication secrets used to generate TOTP codes
- Account identifiers associated with enrolled accounts
- User information provided during account registration, such as name or email address
- Application settings and preferences
How Information Is Used
Information stored by the App is used solely to:
- Generate one-time authentication codes
- Identify enrolled accounts
- Support Quick Sign login approval requests
- Maintain application functionality and settings
Information Sharing
PEP Authenticator does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information may be transmitted to participating authentication servers only when necessary to:
- Register your device
- Verify account enrollment
- Approve Quick Sign login requests
- Authenticate your identity
Data Storage and Security
Authentication information is stored on your device using platform-provided security features where available.
While reasonable security measures are used, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Third-Party Services
PEP Authenticator may communicate with servers operated by participating websites or organizations that use the App for authentication. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
PEP Authenticator is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You may stop all collection and storage of information by uninstalling the App from your device.
